FIRST POSTER FOR "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON"

The first poster for "How to Train Your Dragon", possibly one of the most adorable upcoming animated movies, is just out. Coming in spring 2010 with voices of Gerard Butler and America Ferrera it tells the story of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, heir of the Viking chiefdom, but a boy with one very big problem: a hero he is not. "How to Train Your Dragon' is the riotous story of Hiccup's quest to hunt down the fiercest dragon, bring it into submission, and-hopefully-pass his initiation. Instead, he ends up with the smallest, most ornery dragon-it's even toothless! Thus begins the hijinx of the world's most lovable, unlikely hero and a most reluctant "beast." Packed with energetic drawings and plenty of action, this boisterous tale is just right for fantasy fans or anyone with a spirit of adventure. The movie is based on the book by Cressida Cowell.

  3. Craig Ferguson is doing a voice in this movie. This means it'll either be the worst movie you'll see next year or a hilarious fest full of laughter. Either way I'm such a big Ferguson fan I'll have to watch it.

  5. He hosts the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (youtube it), he also was Mr. Wick on the TV show The Drew Carey Show in the 90's. He's also Scottish and a long time friend of Butler's.

  6. He's not known outside the USA, but if he's Butler's friend, that's a good recommendation :))

  7. ah you guys are missing out, he's downright hilarious. Always the eccentric and off the wall guy, he made a few films at the turn of the century but none of them did well. On his late night talk show his movies become a running gag because many of them are so comically bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A198kzL9lB8 this is the youtube of Butler on Ferguson's show a few months back.

  8. well most of your evening and night talk shows are not broadcast outside USA. We can mostly watch your day time shows like Oprah, Rachel Ray etc. so mostly those for women :)
I liked watching Jay Leno as a kid (and sometimes Connan O'Brian) but that was only while we had NBC Europe, but that was ages ago :(
In my country we have European versions of FOX, HBO ... (but all of them through cable television system) and they don't follow the American version as much as we'd like to.

  9. Ah well I understand that. Ferguson is sort of the Anti-Leno/O'Brian. He seldom lets the guests talk about what they want to, the first few seasons he'd rip up the notes and go on his own (now it's a staple of the show so he just rips up blank papers). Ferguson's talk show style is very personal though, self deprecating, and not so much a setup punch line guy as a fluid conversation with humor guy.
