SY FY'S "ALICE" MINI SERIES TO AIR IN DECEMBER. SEE THE TRAILER.

SyFy Channel has announced the premiere of its new mini series "Alice" for December 6th. You can watch the teaser trailer over at my YouTube channel.
"Alice" brings the modern day re imagination of the famous Lewis Carrol's tale. The cast includes Kathy Bates, Tim Curry, Colm Meaney, Caterina Scorsone ... The new adaptation will supposedly be quite crazy with very strange twist so the White Rabbit for example will be totally different: he's not just one character but a whole secret organization that works for the Queen of Hearts and abducts people from the real world, so that they can come and gamble in the Queen's casino :) And Alice is not a girl, but a women with all kinds of female problems.

  1. I hate when Sci-Fi (I refuse to call it Sy Fy) attempts to do new takes on classic films and literature, they always end up incredibly boring with a lot of bad CGI.

  2. Well I don't think anything with Kathy Bates and Tim Curry could be all bad. :))
And considering this is "Alice" it definitely wouldn't be the worst. Even if it was made by Sci Fi (I also hate SyFy).
That entire story (Alice) is so freaky that I can't imagine a singe person in the world who wouldn't find at least something in that story not to his tastes. I'm almost certain that Alice's author was "high" when he wrote this "masterpiece". (I think hashish and opium were favorite drugs in those circles, at that time.)

  3. Yep, I still can't forgive SyFy what they did to DUNE :(((( they made it exactly what you said above MVP2001.

Marko, I'm positively sure that some weeds were on Carrol's menu while roaming the wonderland :))
