FAMILY SATURDAY: DELIGHTFUL 'SNOWTIME!' ANIMATED MOVIE TRAILER WITH CELINE DION SONG! 'FULLER HOUSE' SITCOM TEASER AND NEW POSTER ARE HERE!

'SNOWTIME!'
ANIMATED MOVIE WITH A SONG FROM CELINE DION
Family Saturday today here, people, starting with a lovely new animated movie SNOWTIME! which has already played in Canadian cinemas but is coming to USA at the end of the month. Beside the trailer you can check out below a clip with Celine Dion speaking about the song she recorded for the movie!

LESSONS IN THE SNOW
Based on the 1984 cult live-action Canadian film 'La Guerre des Tuques' SNOWTIME! explores the sometimes mercurial relations between friends during childhood. The film follows a group of kids in a small village who set out during winter break to hold a massive snowball fight. 11-year-olds Luke and Sophie find themselves leaders of the opposing sides, with Sophie’s faction defending an elaborate snow fort against Luke’s. Whichever side controls the fort by the end of the break will be declared winner. However, what begins as a fun contest deteriorates into a more bitter conflict teaching the children valuable lessons about friendship, the importance of unity, and the emotional consequences of vicious rivalry.

  1. I'd love to see "Snowtime." Couldn't help but tear up at the newscast video of Celine. Let
s face it - this woman has incredible talent. I hope she doesn't disappear.

"Fuller House" gave me a break from the sadness and I think it might be a cute show!!

have a beautiful weekend, Dezzy, (smile).

    1. We do feel with Celine. I watched both the wake and the funeral of her husband and she was so strong, she stood for seven hours in the church at the wake comforting thousands of people who came to show their support instead of them comforting her. Seven hours without even taking a break.

    2. yep, didn't even sit and gave everybody a genuine look or hug

    3. The woman is just incredible. Breaks my heart to think of all pains he has had to endure lately. I do hope she is able to find love and happiness again.

    4. I don't imagine she will have another man, maybe in ten years or so. She will probably dedicate herself to raising her three sons. Her older son seems like such a nice young man. I've noticed that he shed a tear when during the wake they played one of his mom's songs that his dad loved most. She just squeezed his hand and smiled to him. Heartbreaking

    2. Me neither Stephanie. For the life of me I can't understand why a whole generation of people are stuck on such bad television.

    3. I think it was about love, dear. Those were the innocent years of the 80s when family and love were all that mattered. I remember Bob Saget's very kind and loving character in it, as a kid who never really had a father nor parents, seeing him and his love for his kids in the sitcom was always very comforting to the five or six year old Dezzy back then.

    4. At that time I was already at Uni studying hard and working to get ahead. The 80's really wasn't a time of family, it was a time of decadence, drugs and sex. I did not do those things so I was not very popular. I did not like the 80's as that is when the world changed from the simple one I grew up in.

    5. That is an interesting personal perspective, dear. For me those would be the 90's because they brought wars here and extreme poverty, hunger and whatnotelse.
Dahlink, did you wear nasty fashion like Madonna in the 80s :) and all the colours of rainbow in your hair?

    6. For us the 80's were very bad and ended with millions of us emigrating, much like today.

Oh God no, I didn't wear any of those crazy fashions. I was not a party girl and didn't go to disco's.

For us the later part of the 90's were good as our economy boomed. The Spawn was little, my life revolved around my family-those were the best years of my life.

    7. see how things are different around the globe? I bet there is a country which is currently enjoying bliss while we're rotting in hell :)
When did you move to USA, dear? I never asked....

  4. Snowtime looks like a good, happy movie for the Winter doldrums. The E trailer with Cion was very touching. I wonder how she is getting along now? My mother in law is doing a little better, but she still is having trouble sleeping at night.

    1. You didn't watch the original movie, dear? I remember our TV played it usually over winter break holidays and we loved it as kids, they had that huge snowfort built in it, it was very enchanting, top spot next to The Goonies.

She is heartbroken, but has to continue with singing in Vegas because she is under contract. I was disgusted by all the ebil trolls around the net who trashed her for not going to her brother's funeral a day after her husbands. I mean hello, idiots, she wanted to give his family some peace not bringing with her tons of papanazies to his funeral. As anything she does it was a very humble thing to do. She will forever be my inspiration and a model of a morally flawless human being.

Mother in law will heal in time, that is how life goes, sadly. Since I was never truly in love with anyone I can't even imagine what it feels like loving someone for many decades and then losing them :( Will she be living alone now? In my country our grandparents usually live with us.

    2. I have seen horrid people saying cruel things because she is going to be back in Vegas at months end. What do they expect her to do? Singing is all she knows, it's what she is and it's what her husband would want her to do. I think so much of it is down to people being jealous of her fame and her gift.

My mother in law will be living on her own. She owns the house and he left her a very wealthy woman so she won't be wanting for anything material.

    3. I'm just disgusted with these uncaught new generations that have no respect for anyone. If there is someone who never had scandals it is her and I despise all the trolls.

She will probably spend more times with neighbours, friends and grandkids, methinks. My mother started hanging out with neighbours much more after father died. Before he died she never even invited them for a coffee.

    4. Now more than ever I feel very much outside of popular culture. I don't understand how society I live in. Too much emphasis on cruelty, violence and hate.

Ya, my mother in law will now have time for her friends. She spent the last couple of years caring for Jack and had no time for herself. She enjoys quiet things like reading books, drinking tea and taking walks. Eventually she will find comfort in having her own routine.

    5. hope her husband will have a wonderful service later this month!
