AISHWARYA RAI AS A WW2 HERO IN "THE SPY PRINCESS"

Here's a nice story for my male readers, to indulge them a bit after all the Armitagemania :) One of the most beautiful creatures from India, ex miss world Aishwarya Rai whom we've seen in "The Last Legion" and "The Pink Panther2" is planning to take the lead role in "The Spy Princess" according to Beyond Hollywood. The WW2 drama will follow the real life wartime adventures of Noor Inayat Khan or Nora Baker, a girl from a princely Indian Muslim family and a female spy who infiltrated France working for Britain during the WW2. While on a secret mission, Nora Baker's spying career had many interesting twists and turns. For her work, Baker won the French Croix de Guerre with Gold Star, and was awarded the George Cross, Britain’s highest award for gallantry not on the battle field. The script will be written by Judy Morris ("Happy Feet").

  3. She is quite possibly one of the most beautiful women on earth. I don't watch Bollywood movies, but she's absolutely stunning in Bride & Prejudice. She'd make a fabulous Bond girl as well, though her 'no-kissing' clause in her film contracts might prove to be a problem :)

  4. well she is officially, Flixy, since she was MISS WORLD :)
Oh, that "no-kissing" thingy in Bollywood contracts really is a nuisance :) How could kissing ever be a sin???

  15. I haven't seen Bride and Prejudice (I will someday), but I remember a funny comment/description of Indian dance style from that movie (anyone who at least saw that part of this film would remember). I guess there's something funny to be said about any kind of dance. :)

I'm not a great fan of spy movies/stories, but if the screenwriters say it's interesting...
If nothing else, it would be interesting to see a non-European characters/face involved in WW2 in Europe.
