vampire and a witch who fall in love with each other while hiding their true identities. She is a history professor and he a scientist who join together to decode a powerful manuscript which could bring peace between their kinds.

The series, which will air sometime next year, will also star Alex Kingston as her mother a powerful witch, and Lindsay Duncan as his vampire mother who hates witches.

  1. I tried to read "A Discovery of Witches" a few years ago because it was such a massive bestseller, but I just could not plow through it. I crapped out at about page 50, if I recall. Maybe the miniseries would suit me better!

    1. I've heard that from a lot of people, that they did not like the book. I usually never like any of the bestsellers, even the ones I translate :)
