  2. It's amazing to me how a 14 year old could make such power moves back then. I look at 14 year old kids today and wonder how they even manage to get their shoes on without help each day.

    1. Today's snowflakes would probably get offended in his position :) but he was raised a king, so he probably came prepared for every possibility. The parents of our modern era are the worst in their overprotecting ways as they will raise incompetent brats unable to live and work and govern the world properly, not to mention they will have no sense of honour and right principles. I wake up each morning scared for the future world as we already live in its dark introduction.

    2. I also worry for our future world with the entitled snowflakes we have running around today. People thought I was nuts making Mariah get a job at 16 when she was already taking on college level courses and volunteering. Damn skippy she's getting a job too. I am raising my kids to be independent and have a good work ethic, unlike a lot of her friends who have never held a job and sit around behind their xbox game systems complaining about how hard life is. If my kids aren't productive members of society by the time they are 18, I've failed as a parent.

    3. Too true! I do understand the other side as well, it is true that we live only once and they spoil their kids because they know we don't have much happiness and wishes come true in our adult lives, but still.... some parents just go to far. These kids don't work in school, don't work later on in their jobs... what's the point of such parasites? You've turned out to be an amazing parent, dear, given how young you were when you gave birth to your cubs. And what kind of family surrounding you had or did not have.

    4. Stupid of me to get pregnant so young, but ended up being the best thing for me because it made me grow up real quick. Not that I loved all of my childhood, I'm glad I didn't have it easy so I could pass on my knowledge to my girls without them having to go through those experiences themselves. For being two stupid kids who had no business having babies as young as we did, I also think we've done an awesome job at raising two pretty amazing girls ♥
